Deep Insights with 3D Spatial Biology

Alpenglow sheds new light on tissue analysis with an AI-powered 3D approach. Novel chemistry, a patented high-throughput light-sheet microscope, and cloud-based AI analysis adds a new dimension to your pathology.

THE CHALLENGE

We are at a crossroads in drug discovery and clinical diagnostics.  Pharma R&D investment is up 4x since 2000 while the rate of approved drugs has remained relatively flat.  Novel therapies and precision medicine show promise but present economics challenges which limit patient access. Pathology is essential to drug development & diagnostics as it is a key step in identifying potential candidates. However, it is inherently limited by analog 2D analysis, subjective interpretation, and manual approach.  How can we move toward a new paradigm with reduced costs and better outcomes?

SEE WHAT YOU’VE BEEN MISSING

SEE WHAT YOU’VE BEEN MISSING

Alpenglow has developed an end-to-end solution with proprietary sample preparation, patented open-top light-sheet microscopy, cloud-based data processing & storage, 3D visualization and AI analysis. These technologies combined provide a remarkable view of spatial biology to see what would not be possible or practical with 2D techniques such as convoluted shapes, complex cell distributions, sparse objects, or entire structures.

  • Proprietary Sample Prep

We use proprietary methods to label thick tissue in 3D. We clear the sample for deep imaging without affecting downstream molecular assays. Samples are mounted in custom 3D printed sample holders to prevent imaging artifacts.

  • OTLS Technology

Our Open Top Light Sheet (OTLS) microscopy technology can “optically section” specimens at the mesoscopic to sub-micron scale keeping the sample completely intact for further analysis. The open top design allows for an easier workflow and high throughput imaging.

  • 3D Spatial Biology

Bring your research from conventional 2D to digital 3D imaging with cloud-based processing & storage and 3D image analysis. Experience digital pathology with 3D visualization and a full suite of 3D analysis tools. Cloud based data archiving means greater collaboration and support for future regulatory filing.
