3D Imaging of Glioblastoma in Whole Mouse Brain

This video showcases a whole mouse brain stained with TO-PRO-3 for nuclei (pink) and eosin (green). Beginning with low-resolution whole-organ imaging (Scout imaging: 2 μm/pixel), the analysis progresses through:

  • Identifying the glioblastoma region of interest (ROI)

  • Segmenting the ROI (highlighted in yellow) and constructing a mesh around the glioblastoma pixels to calculate its volume, capturing the tumor's intricate morphology

  • From sec. 19: Performing high-resolution imaging (Zoom Imaging: 0.34 μm/pixel) of the selected glioblastoma region. TO-PRO-3 in purple and Eosin in Pink.
